Artist StatementMy artwork is a contemporary take on figurative abstraction. My most recent body of work is created with a material called Alcohol Ink. This material, and its nature of being hard to control, compliments the themes I work in such as existentialism and the cycles of life. Through my ink work I try to create a sense of atmosphere where the figure or subject matter seamlessly belongs to and falls out of the space around them. |
